I am so excited to share this gorgeous spring senior session with you! Zara and I wanted to create something that was airy, spring-y, pastel-y, sunny…basically all the lovely and wonderful things about April and May [no rain or clouds in sight :)]. With those aesthetics in mind, we took just a few things that she loves and incorporated them into our shoot.
The Violin
Zara has been playing the violin for about 6 years and she’s come along way since I used to babysit her and listen to the…well she used to be not nearly as good as she is now. Now, it’s a delight to listen to her play.
The Garden
Isn’t this just a gorgeous setting to take photos? We loved how the cherry blossom and the lilacs were out in full force. This specific spot is a private yard, but I also love to shoot at Woodland Park Rose Garden and Parsons Garden for the same vibe.
Reading
This girl doesn’t go anywhere without at least one book and she reads more than anyone I know. It’s super inspiring. How could we not include that in her senior pics!
Taylor Swift
And finally, it wouldn’t be representative of Zara unless we included some TSwift. She wore her folklore cardigan and we did an homage to the Fearless curly hair spinning in the wind. Don’t you love it?
I absolutely loved this project and can’t wait to create more sessions.
