Phase Genomics is a biotech company in Seattle that had me come to their offsite and take portraits of all of their employees. They wanted an outdoor setting with natural lighting and consistent (but not identical) background between for each person.
The Process
I usually need 5-10 minutes with each person to get a great headshot. With that time, we’ll take a few photos, we’ll look at them together so the subject can see if they like their expression and posture, then we’ll take a few more photos and repeat, as time allows. You’ll end up with 3-5 edited, high resolution photos per person.
