It was such an honor to be part of the Myers family’s celebration of their son’s bar mitzvah at the beginning of the month. The day was divided between the ceremony and the party and every minute was full of joy, reverence for the traditions, and celebration for the new milestone in this family’s life.
The ceremony was held at the Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center and was full of traditional and beautiful prayers, blessings, and songs.
When it was time to party, we set sail onto Lake Union and spent a few hours cruising on Lake Washington on a perfect Seattle summer evening.
The hora proved to be hilarious since the ceilings were so low. But that didn’t stop anyone from participating!
Being part of the biggest and most special days of your life truly never gets old to me. I tear up at every special event I photograph because I can look around the room and see how much this day means to everyone present.
