I have so many spots around Seattle that are perfect locations for your family session! I’ve been doing this for many years and I’ve figured out which spots work well and, more importantly, which ones don’t. You’ll find my many location suggestion divided by season, though my personal favorite times for family sessions are late spring and mid-fall.

Parsons Garden, Seward Park, Ballard Locks
Summer
Rose Garden at Woodland Park, Gasworks, Hamlin Park, Golden Gardens
Fall
Kubota Gardens, Greenlake, UW Campus, UW Arboretum
Some of these parks are quite big and I have some secret, tucked away spots in each location that will ensure the fewest number of people are walking through the photos or in the background. I’ll share our exact meeting point and the best time for your session after you book.
