Location Ideas
If you’re planning your own family portraits in Seattle, think about what feels most comfortable or exciting to your family. Do you love the water, the beach, the forest, the city, the ferry, or a garden? We are so lucky that Seattle is packed with parks that offer many kinds of gorgeous backgrounds. I have so many ideas for where to have your session–all you need to do is tell me the vibe you want and I’ll handle the rest.
Timing
I generally offer a morning session and an evening session to work around the best light of the day. The exact start time with depend on our location and time of the season. I suggest booking the time your children are the happiest! If they are morning people, great! We’ll get out there bright and early. If they’re happier in the evening, then we’ll find the best location and the best time for you.
What to Wear
The shortest answer to this question is wear whatever you like best. YOU have to like how you look and feel in your outfit, that’s the best way to look good in front of the camera.
