What type of small business photography is right for you?

You know how important good photography is to any small business. It will lend credibility to your website and elevate your brand so that you attract the clients and customers you want! It will help you to better share and sell your talents with your audience. Isn’t that the reason you started this business in the first place?!

So yes, you want the great photos, but it can be a little overwhelming to know exactly what you need or what kind of session is right for your business. Let’s go over 3 session options and hone in on the right fit for you.

1. The CEO Session

This is for the founder and CEO of your company, even if you’re a sole proprietor! During this session we’ll get an updated headshots and portraits of you with any sort of props that pertain to your business.

Mel is the owner and CEO of Mel Parson’s Homes and we have worked together many times over the years. She is so intentional about updating her photos and creating new content. In this session, she said she was drawn to images of women looking like a BOSS, facing the camera straight on and showing confidence.

2. The Small Business Session

If you have employees, specialize in a craft or service, and/or want to showcase your location this is the perfect option for you.

SOL Yoga wanted to really highlight their rebrand by having their instructors wear the brand colors and, of course, do yoga! They wanted unique images to use on their new website and throughout social media.

3. The Personal Branding Session

If your brand is more personal (as in, you are the face and at the center of it!) and you want to showcase your talents as well as your personality and maybe even hobbies, this lifestyle session is a great fit.

Kaska wanted to show her adventurous and active side as well as her love of working from all different locations for her work as a wedding planner with Tapestry Event Co. It was important to her to be able to invest in one session and use these images for a year on social media and marketing collateral. I love how you can see Kaska’s high energy and fun loving spirit through these photos!
